Well isn't this exciting! Lands' End invited some fellow bloggers and me to their Getaway Tour in Madison this weekend. It's a pretty amazing setup... a truck opening up into your summer swim destination. The road trip started it's journey in Atlanta, filled with fit specialists to help you find your perfect swimsuit. Whether we are ready for it or not, swimsuit season has arrived! Lands' End was focusing on fit and finding the perfect suit that you can feel comfortable in at the beach this summer. Swimsuits are hard for women to tackle sometimes (definitely not my favorite thing to shop for), but this tour seems to have gotten everyone excited to find something to make them feel great!

I also had the opportunity to chat with Glambassador and fashion stylist, Kendall Farr. Kendall is also the author of The Pocket Stylist and Style Evolution and got her start working at a large variety of Fashion Magazines. She has amazing advice for women and how to truly dress best for yourself. I found Kendall to be a firm believer in dressing appropriately for your body and age, and that coverage can be sexy. Some of her summer must haves include long flowing maxis, crisp white oxfords, and her gold Birkenstocks (a sophisticated take on this comfortable trend!). She also emphasized the fact that not every trend is for everyone! It's a great reminder that you need to dress for your body type and work off of the cuts/ styles that accentuate you best. Kendall was wearing a Lands' End swim tee that she also finds to be one of her essentials. They fall perfectly in line with the sport trend right now while also offering UV protection. It truly was an honor to meet such a sophisticated and talented woman... my new inspiration!
