Happy Memorial Day, friends! I hope you got some quality time outside this weekend (and maybe a little inside shopping the online Memorial Day sales!). Like any true Midwesterner, I wanted to spend as much time outside as possible this previous week. Once the weather turns, we embrace every moment. Ben and I spent an evening wandering around campus and grabbing some sandwiches and beers by the lake. I also wanted an excuse to wear my new sale find from J.Crew, this varsity jacket. The evenings are still a little cooler,so it's nice to have something comfortable to throw on over your outfit. I really love the fabric this is made of...the item description actually refers to it as a "surfer" jacket, which I can see in the neoprene seeming material.
