Perhaps I have been talking about this too much, but it really is what's on my mind right now. Staying warm while looking good! These boots are some of my favorites right now. Top row, from left to right: L.L. Bean // Tretorn // Hunter. The L.L. Bean duck boots are perfectly preppy and would look great paired with your favorite jeans and gingham shirt. These Tretorn lace ups are on my wish list right now. Love that they are safe to wear in the water but have that wedge to add a little jump in your step. The Hunters are a classic and must have as far as I'm concerned. The hard part is just picking the color!! Bottom row: all Sorel. This brand is the perfect blend of some serious function and style. If you are trekking around the Midwest right now, these are your guys. Companies like Free People and Anthropologie even think they are the bee's knees.

Welp, 2013 has come to an end. What a year!! I couldn't have asked for a better one. This year I was lucky enough to travel more than I expected, start this blog, and recently got engaged! And of course, was surrounded by my friends and family the entire way through. Lucky lady, I tell ya. I want to thank you all for the support with this blog throughout this first year... I knew this would be a learning experience, and I hope I've grown through the last 8 months. I hope you keep following into the new year, you guys are great!! Here's to 2014!
