Aldo Shoes // Cynthia Rae Pants // H&M Shirt // Big Budha Purse (similar) // Kate Spade Watch (white) // Vintage Cape
I love a good vintage find, but even more when it comes from family. This cape was my grandmothers, and I can't get enough of it! It came with an amazing matching pencil skirt that I can barely fit my booty into, but it's a great set. I feel so lucky to have this timeless piece... my Grandmother had great taste. Do you have any great vintage finds? I feel like the workmanship can be so amazing in some older garments. Pretty sure a lot of my clothes won't stand the test of time, but I do hope that some day I can pass some gems to future generations!

Lands' End Boots, Dress, and Cardigan (old) // Rachel Roy Vest // Forever 21 Hat // Michael Kors Watch // JCrew Bangle // Charming Charlie Bracelet
Ben invited me to a dinner with some of his coworkers this week. I wanted to dress up a bit, but still feel casual and comfortable. I went with this pleated dress from Lands' End Canvas and paired it with some extra layers (why am I always wrinkled?! I should work on that). I love bringing some of this great summer styles into the colder months.
Also, looking for some deliciousness to warm your soul on these cloudy days? I can't wait to try Kitchenblend's soup recipe this week. Plus all of their recipes are amazing and (BONUS) this blog's writer is FUNNY (plug plug). Yes, she's my friend.. but I wouldn't send you her way unless I was a huge fan. Check it out.
Dex Sweater // Forever 21 Vest // (gifted) Leggings // Target Boots
Sweaters, sweaters, sweaters! I might need to take it back a hot minute. I am jumping head first into cold weather and am potentially over-bundling myself up. I just know that after a couple months of this I will be aching to get back into dresses without tights, but for now... I'm enjoying it! I snagged this sweater up at TJMaxx.. loving the fuzzy texture and it couldn't be softer. These boots were a late season find last year at Target and I wear them a lot more than I expected. They are a good balance of comfort and functionality, but still make me feel like I put on something decent. Found this tunnel while I was out running errands this weekend. Has anyone else started Christmas shopping?! I'm so proud.
H&M Coat, H&M Sweater, Max&Chloe Monogram Necklace, Ray Ban Sunglasses, Levi's Jeans, Steve Madden Pumps, Aldo Earrings
After all this talk about looking for a new coat, of course I was sold by a sale! H&M had half off outerwear last weekend and I nabbed this gem for $50. I love the look of the texture and the cozy wool blend of the fabric. Grey is one of my favorite colors (exciting, I know) because it goes with everything. It allows you to add pops of color to brighten up in this dreary weather. Also, whoa... going to have to start taking some more pictures inside so you don't get sick of me bundled from head to toe in every post. Winter is upon us, folks!
cozy fall digs. by theladyjaneblog featuring Kate Spade
I think I'm getting older. I am always cold. The constant struggle to be fashionable yet functional in the fall and winter months begins! First of all- these Sorel boots.. how great are these? They have a rubber sole that can withstand the wet and snow, but are still the perfect fall bootie with a pop of color. Can someone hook a girl up with a discount?! Also, fleece lined tights are a must to keep your legs warm- especially if you are transitioning some of your skirts into these colder months. I'm loving this fox sweater from Adidas too... so many cute icon sweaters out this season, how does one choose?! I just pulled out my earmuffs from the closet too- they are the perfect way to keep your ears warm but not mess up your hair on the way to work. What are some of your favorite function meets fashion styles this season?
Forever 21 Dress // Steve Madden Purse // Ray Ban Erika Sunglasses
Welp, I'm still bombarding you with pictures from Thailand- but can you blame me!? We took a LOT of pictures while we were there, so much to see! This was one of my favorite days exploring Bangkok. These photographs were taken at the Golden Palace- so much detail on every inch of these grounds. I wrapped this scarf I borrowed from my sister-in-law around my open back dress as I was not allowed in showing this skin. Actually added a nice pop of color to the outfit. I chose this Steve Madden find from TJMaxx to carry around this entire trip. Something small and close to your body is important for traveling! What are your necessary items for travel?
Well hello! I am back, thanks for coming back to visit my blog again!
So, I was in Thailand. That was cool. Here are a couple photos from us wandering around the Temple of Dawn. It was one of my favorites, Ben called it a Ninja temple. It was very different than a lot of the temples we saw that are filled with sparkly stones, mirrors, and gold. This was built in the 1700's and I loved the washed out colors and the insanely steep steps. When visiting most temples here, you would not be allowed in without your knees covered. This is very difficult in the insane heat there! I was glad I picked up these breezy pants at H&M before I left. After we toured the grounds, we took a ferry across the river to pick up some mango sticky rice and view the temple in the sunset. Hope you enjoy!
