Being a Minnesota born native, I've learned that fall and winter can get
COLD. I'm pretty sure people think it snows year round in the Midwest,
which is false. It has been in the 70's this week... oh happy October!
Since the weather has been so pleasant lately, I haven't really busted
out my fall coats and scarves. I found myself accidentally (okay, maybe
not an accident) at Marshall's this weekend. SO many awesome coats on
sale and it got me in the mood! How does one choose?!
I'm loving this nude and grey hooded coat from Zara- beautiful neutrals will match everything you own as you transition into cooler weather. And, sure... I'll take one Burberry Trench this season too (a girl can dream!).
Mixing a rugged quilted leather with warm materials is one of my favorite looks. Leather is everywhere this season, why not in your coats and jackets as well? This trendy parka jacket from Zara is another favorite.
Don't be afraid to use color in your dreary winter wardrobe! This electric blue J.Crew Factory coat is the perfect hue to brighten up your look. I am definitely an offender of wearing only blacks and greys in the cooler months, but this jacket might be just the piece I need.
What are some of the ways you are looking to bundle up when colder weather hits?
